She was predeceased by: her father Dennis Gerace; her grandparents, William, Irene Gaddes, Richard and Harriet Heller; her uncle James Harper; her aunt Shelia Johnson; and her grandmother Bobbie Croom.
She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Gerace; her children, DaRron, Ra'Shon, Janessa and Donovan; her grandchildren, Caison, Zurielle and Michael; and her brothers, Timothy (Becky) and Patrick (Angie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Julie's memory to the Gaddes Foundation and the American Heart Association.
