She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Shimmons and Mavis Shimmons (Williams); her husband John Wise; and her sister Bonnie Onaway. She is survived by: her children, Karrie Diederich of North Carolina, Jennifer Wise of Indiana and Dora Gill of Flint; her grandchildren, Christina, Mary, Kathryn, Gabe, Caleb, Jared and Wendy; and her brothers, Trent Shimmons (Esther) of Attica and Edwin Shimmons (Diane) of Davison. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
