She was predeceased by: her parents, Liggie Gulledge and Edith Gulledge (Pierce); and her husband John. She is survived by: her daughters, Vona Slaughter (Bill Bisnack) and Freda Slaughter; and her grandchildren, Lynette Brandon (Edward), Brian Wilson, Jason Gauthier, Michelle Lucia (Howard), Timothy Pennington (Leanne) and Melissa Pennington.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
