She was predeceased by: her father Rev. Ira Watkins; her former husband Freeman Busby; her daughter LaWanda; and her spouse Turner S. Hartfield. She is survived by: her children, Jerone of Tampa, FL and Eleanor; her grandchildren, Michelle, Jaison (LaVonna), Melvin and Allen (Sylvia); her great grandchildren, J'nai, Jaiden, Dailia, Davon of Ryan, A. J. and Sheri; her great great grandchild Marley; and her sisters-in-law, Lois, Verniece Watkins and Rose Hartfield.
