Lawrence A. Feinstein Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence A. Feinstein of Flint, Michigan, who passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Feinstein and Rhoda Feinstein (Cohen); his wife Rita Shapiro; and his son Jeffrey Feinstein. He is survived by: his daughters, Gail Feinstein of Columbus, OH and Marcia Atchison (Ben) of Kalamazoo; his grandchildren, Katie Kwiatkowski (Wally), Heidi Valentin (Garry) and Benjamin Feinstein; and his great grandchildren, Lauryn, Sophie, Sam Kwiatkowski, Lola, Lucy and Lucas Valentin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Machpelah Cemetery (4615 Branch Rd, Flint, MI 48506). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Machpelah Cemetery (4615 Branch Rd, Flint, MI 48506).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The Ben and Marcia Atchison Occupational Therapy Endowment Fund (https://secure.wmualumni.org.) or to a charity of one's choice.
