He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Evans and Evelyn Evans; his wife Ruby L. Moody; his brothers, Donald and Charles; and his nephew Phil Hurst.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Evans (Cheryl) and Sheree Evans-Cameron; and his siblings, Mary Hurst and Robert Evans. He is also survived by three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
