He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Naler and Jewel Naler (Williams); his siblings, Orval, Donald Naler and Ovell Friend; his stepdaughter Ayanna Thomas; and his mother-in-law Pat Sumner.
He is survived by: his wife Tracy Thomas; his daughter Melinda (Brent McDowell); his stepdaughter Christen (Dewey Taylor); his stepgrandchildren, Jackson and Kamryn McDowell; his father-in-law Jim Sumner; and his brothers, Bill (Jerilynn Sumner), Greg (Kelly Foley) and Cecil (Cheryl Miller). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
