She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Everett Bickell and Eva Elizabeth Bickell (Graf); her husband David George Tankersley; and her brothers, Richard and Bernard.

She is survived by: her children, Charles David Tankersley (Tina), Sally Jo Grant (Richard) and Carol Ann Verdoux (Glen); her grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Shawn, Peter, Michael and Brian; and her sister Sandra Yettaw. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
