He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis King, and Blanche King, Sr. (White); his son Darwin A. King, Sr.; his granddaughter Jene VanDeWater; his great grandchild Gage Spiece; his stepgrandchildren, Jill Hawley and Daren Hawley; and his siblings, Mary Ann Barrett, Mose King, Elaine Compeau, Genevieve Pike, Theresa Moore, Celia Balarski, Roger King and Eugene King.
He is survived by: his wife Marie King; his children, David King, Douglas King (Terri), Deborah Hawley (Larry), Dean King (Pansy), Dennis King (Carrie), Drew King (Deborah), Daniel King (Mary) and John King; and his sisters, Gloria Rosiek, Alice Greszczuk and Judy Greniuk. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Louis's memory.
