She is survived by: her husband Preston Johnson; her children, Wanda Woodie (Clinton), Fred Johnson (Jeryll) and Bruce Johnson (Soniqua); and her siblings, Ruth Nunn, Ruby Williams, Shirley Cates and John Sims (Verna).
