She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruben Aguilar and Gummesinda Aguilar (Ortiz); her husband Robert Max Carranza; her children, Christina McCann (Shawn) of Flint, Ray Gatica (Malinda) of Mt. Morris, Vanessa Thomas (Joshua) of Swartz Creek, Robert Carranza of Flint and Mary Carranza of Flint; her grandchildren, Savanah Sierra (James Logie), Angelena Gatica, Maliyah Gatica, Ray Gatica III, Antonio Gatica, Analicia Gatica, Madison Thomas and Nayeli Carranza; and her siblings, Juan Gutierrez (Pauline) of Grand Blanc, Daniel Aguilar (Ellie) of Beaverton and Antonia Marquez (Daniel) of Texas. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
