It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Delnora (Loucks) Sims of Flint, Michigan, born in Goshen, Indiana, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Jacob Loucks and Miriam Lucile Loucks (Moyer); her grandmother Marie; her husband Bradley K. Sims; and her siblings, Paul Loucks, David Loucks, Walter Loucks, John Loucks, Grace Pettifor, Gladys Pettifor, Ruth Yoder and Barbara Lilly.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Hollenbeck (David) of Flint, MI, John Sims (Evelyn) of Fairborn, OH, Daniel Sims (Patricia) of Hyde Park, NY, Janice Dillon (John) of Fairborn, OH and Michael Sims of Columbus, OH; her grandchildren, Rebecca Sims, James Hollenbeck (Ollie), John Dillon, Matthew Dillon (Vicki) and Elizabeth Hunsaker; and her sister Carol Gongwer (Rollan). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
