The memory of Marilyn Sue (Skodinski) Pointer of Flint, Michigan, who passed away on June 20, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father Daniel C. Skodinski of Antigo, Wisconsin.; her former husband Mike Pointer; her mother Julia Skodinski (Thompson); and her niece Janet Skodinski. She is survived by: her cousin Diane; her children, Tracy (Pointer), Fisher (Gary Fisher), Erik Pointer (Monica Pointer) and Wendy Pointer; her grandchildren, Abigail, Amelia, William and Eleanor Pointer; her brother Dennis Skodinski (Judy); her nephews, Anthony and Gregory Skodinski; her sister-in-law Connie Markva (Pointer); her nieces and nephews, Craig, Kurt, Keith, David, Sarah, Susan, Julie and Christy; and her cousin Loretta Malin (Thompson).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Church (1227 E Bristol Rd, Burton, MI 48529).
