He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Sumner; his children, Dorene Dawson (Alex) and Darren Sumner (Dawn); his grandchildren, Rik Dawson (Kate), Grant Dawson (Elle), Alexa Loper (Lafe), Cameron, Jack, Chase Dawson, Aaron, Cory (Alexis), Brendan, Nathan Sumner and Joseph Malone; his great grandchildren, Tirzah Dawson and Elizabeth Sumner; his stepchildren, Mindie Malone (Jeffery) and Douglas Pace (Melissa); and his brothers, Jim, Roger and David Sumner (Mary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
