She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Sussman and Herbert Sussman; her husband Dr Arnold Schaffer; and her son Bruce Alan Schaffer. She is survived by: her children, Susan (Ronald Gup), Michelle (David Hemenway) and Robert (Laura); and her grandchildren, Maxwell, Georgie, Maizy Schaffer and Audrey Hemenway.
