He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Courneya and Minnie Courneya (Gibson); his siblings, Robert Courneya and Rose Marie Pfeiffer; and his daughter-in-law Becky Courneya.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Courneya; and his children, Pamela Marie Gales (Billy), Pat Courneya (Sheila) and John Courneya. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and good friends.
