Penelope left this world on September 24, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evangelos Diafa and Malamati Diafa (Sipanta); her husband William "Bill" Kallis; and her sister Tasula Riga. She is survived by: her children, Nicholas, Betty (Mike Gusho) and Evangelos "Van" (Sally); her grandchildren, Zachary, Aidan, Alex, Zoe Gusho, Alexia and Dylan Kallis; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Gianakaris, Agape Kallis and Susan Kallis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and sister.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
