She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Cochran (Ransom); her grandson George Mayes (Constance); her great grandchildren, Ja'Lessa Mayes, George E. Mayes III and Ahmad Mayes; her great great grandchild Amir Mayes-Brisby of Flint, MI; and her nieces, Mattie Kate Wilson of Flint, MI and Gladys Thurmond of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
