With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph Nehring (Flint, Michigan), who passed away on February 17, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Nehring and Carl Nehring; his parents-in-law, Cale and Sada Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Kenny, Betty Cockerill, David Sipes and Bill Thompson; Gary Nehring, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Thompson; his daughters, Liz Cleveland, Kate Nehring and Sarah Slangor (Wisson); his grandchildren, Matthew Quigley, Allie Quigley, Eli Slangor (Ellie), Ella Slangor and Ethan Slangor; and his siblings, Gary Nehring (Rose Ella), Carl Nehring and Sharon Sipes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorial donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
