He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Newman and Marjory Newman-Penney (Lee); his stepfather Donald Pinney; his brother Scott Newman; and his granddaughter Tracy Newman.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Newman (Stevens); and his sons, Randall Newman II of Saginaw, Wayne Newman of Flint, Dale (Mellissa Newman) of Athens and Christopher Newman of Flint. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home (G1208 N Ballenger Hwy, Flint, MI 48504). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
