She is survived by: her husband Robert Sexton; her children, Lance McDermitt and Stephanie McDermitt; her mother Gloria Gomez; her siblings, Enrique Gomez, Julian Gomez and Laura Palmer; and her grandchildren, Daniel, Charlotte, Ovianna, Emiri and Khalil.
