He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ruhala and Anna Ruhala (Mucha); his son-in-law Scott Amrhein; and his brother David Ruhala. He is survived by: his wife Arlene DeCook; his children, Karen Ruhala Amrhein of New York City, NY, John Ruhala (CJ) of Dallas, TX, Richard Ruhala (Laura) of Atlanta, GA and Philip Ruhala (Heather) of Plymouth, MI.; his grandchildren, Lauren Amrhein, Justin Amrhein (Khamini Persaud), Katie Hillis (Terry), Sam Ruhala (Amanda), Elijah Ruhala, Patrick Ruhala, Jack Ruhala and Ben Ruhala; and his sister Marilyn Cooper (Lynn) of Palm Springs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
