In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Robert had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Robert may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, A. C. Forbes and Lucille Forbes (Garant); and his children, Robert Allen Forbes and Teresa Marie Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; and his sisters, Janet Andis (Don) of Millington and Betty Wagner of Flushing. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
