He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Acker and Ruth Acker (Falkenhagen) of Birch Run, MI.; his daughter Susan Acker; his stepdaughter Deborah Dexter (Massey); his son-in-law Todd Hamilton; his grandsons, Craig Bolf and Daniel Draper; and his siblings, Bruce Acker and Audrey Congdon.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Acker (Shaw) of Birch Run, MI; his children, Patricia Bolf of Bridgeport, MI and Michael Acker (Cherie) of Kingston, MI; his stepchildren, Jeanne Haley of Saginaw, MI, Diana Raquepaw (John) of Birch Run, MI, Richard Massey (Robin) of Bridgeport, MI and Laurie Hamilton of Birch Run, MI; his brother Dennis Acker (Marlene) of Clio, MI; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Acker of Texas and Dale Congdon of Clio, MI. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
