He was predeceased by: his parents, Waine Bigelow and Mildred Bigelow Cherry (Bard); and his siblings, Dean Bigelow and Janice Bigelow Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Kennedy Bigelow; and his children, Tamara Nelson (Jim), Tracy Culbertson (Donald), Marsha Gould (Dennis), Rachel Torres (Andres), Rebecca Alick, Dan Bigelow (Diane) and Randy Bigelow (Tiffany). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to the Missions Department at North Flushing Baptist Church.
