He is survived by: his wife Filomena Leon Salinas; his children, Maria G. Salinas (Shawn), Jessica Salinas and Ruben Salinas Jr. (Sandra); his grandchildren, Marcus Salinas (Katie), Miguel Salinas, Kevin Parker, Heaven Parker, De'Nyla Lafaye Gatewood and Autumn Salinas; his siblings, Alexandro Salinas (Emma), Alberto Salinas (Rosa) of San Benito, TX, Alicia Garcia of Los Fresnos, TX and Adelaida Aguirre (Ramundo) of Bay City, MI; his godson Arturo Mena; and his close friends, Shawn Coulter, Joe and Laura Verreaua.
