She was predeceased by: her mother Doris McGowen (Allen); her husbands, Joe and Joseph Sabin; Donald and Joyce Sabin.
She is survived by: her father Jackson McGowen; her brother Stephen McGowen (Sara); and her stepchildren, Jason Sabin (Carrie) of Tennessee, Nikki Bowden (George) of Clio, Jenny Koos of Flint and Candace Sabin of Michigan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center (6063 Fenton Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sandy to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Carriage Town Ministries.
