She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Roden and Miriam Roden; her sisters, Elizabeth Munson (late Don) and Ruth Turfus (late Stuart); and her nephew Dave Munson (Jennifer).

She is survived by: her daughter Christine (Jim); and her nieces and nephews, Paul Munson (Brooke), Janet McCullough, Debi Ackerman (Dale) and Shirley Philips (Dan).

Memorial donations may be made in Sonia's honor to the Humane Society of Genesee County, Ascension Genesys Foundation or a Hospice of choice.
