He was predeceased by: his parents, Antoni Tomczyk and Stella Tomczyk (Kuzawa); his daughter Therese; and his siblings, Joe, Tom, Helen, Ted and Tony.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Tomczyk; his sons, Edward (Annamarie), Andrew (Elizabeth), Michael (Elaine), Ted (Laurie) and Stan (Alison); and his sister Genevieve Harrington. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
