With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen R. Kanous of Flint, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 3, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kanous and Colleen Kanous (Kelley); his sister Theresa Crawshaw; his nephew Christopher Crawshaw; and his friend Glen Johnson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marilynne Giguere, David Kanous (Mary), Thomas Kanous (Theresa) and Gerald Kanous (Cindy); his uncle C. B. "Bernie" Kelley; his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Daniel Giguere, Eric Crawshaw (Lindsay), Andrew Kanous, Allison Kanous-Reefer (Adam), Robbie Kanous (Frances), Drew Michelson, Danielle Kanous (Alex), Jason McAuliffe (Maria), David and Jason Lund; his cousins, Albert, Mary Santiago and Dennis Kelley; his close friends, David, Glen "Logan", Matt and Eric Johnson; and his friend Karen Johnson (Tewksbury).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church and Soup Kitchen of Flint.
