He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Gardner and Margaret Brown; his wife Rosie Lee Davis; his adoptive parents, Will Davis and Sarah Davis; his brothers, Billy Alford, Don Alford and Bobby Wallington; and his son-in-law Larry Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Miller, Mageela Wheeler (Steve), Sylvester Davis (Christina) of Ml and Demetrius Davis (Lanasha); his sister Betty Brown of Krikwood, MO.; and his grandchildren, Carmen Davis of Ml, Johanna Powell of Ml, Lea Josey of Ml, Lamar Powell of Ml, LaQuayla Blade of Ml, Kaiesha Laury of Ml, Sunsae Davis of Ml, Demonte Davis of Ml, Noah Davis of Ml, Demetrius Davis Jr., Tasheara Davis, Jazmine Davis, Alexus Davis, Evan Davis and Ava Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
