He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ann (Schauff); his children, Debra Woods (Michael), Brian Persails (Candra), Terry Persails (Michele), Tim Persails (Marsha) and Teddy Persails (Kimberly); and his brothers, Roy Persails (Joyce), Bob Persails and Gerald Persails (Lynn Callahan). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
