It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas L. Whitman of Flint, Michigan, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Whitman and Anna Whitman (Noble); and his granddaughter Brooke Vallaire. He is survived by: his wife Sally Lawcock; his daughters, Kimberly Vallaire (late Richard) and Tonya Breeden (Christopher); his grandchildren, Nichol Albiar (Alberto), Thomas Breeden (Kaitlin), Richard Vallaire (Kelsey) and Elyse Woods (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Alberto Albiar III, Santiago Albiar, Aiden Vallaire, Bentley Woods, Izabella Woods, Carter Vallaire, Audrey Breeden and Hudson Vallaire. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calvert Park Community Church of God (2341 N Genesee Rd, Burton, MI 48509). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
