She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Christenson and Mabel Christenson; her husband Warren L. Nelson; her close friend Roland C. Howes; her brother Donald C. Christenson (Jeanette); and her son-in-law Kip Sayer.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, April Richards, John May (Andrea), Steven, Andrew (Kandace), Robert, Michelle, Lawerence Nelson, Michele Backes (Douglas), Anthony Bueno (Christina) and Lonn Stanfill; her great grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick Richards, Maddy Vincent, Joshua Morgan, Katherine, Sarah May, Alijah Caskinette, Victoria Nelson, Benjamin, Ella Joy Backes, Anabel, Katie Bueno, Gavin and Kenleigh Stanfill; her daughter Adopted Vivian; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Fritzler, Bob, Eunice Cotter, Don, Gladys Cassel, Alfred and Marian Keast; her grandson James J. Nelson; her caregiver Kathi Keast; Roland Howes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
