He is survived by: his wife Melissa; his children, William Evans, Brittany McDowell (Jeremy), Britton Cornelius, Brandon Cornelius and Blair Cornelius; his grandchildren, William Evans Jr, Jaliyah, Janneya, Jaiden McDowell, Alexis, Brielle, Bailey, A'mere and Brylei Cornelius; his siblings, Robert Cornelius (Charlene), James Cornelius, Kevin Cornelius (Shawna), Henry Cornelius, DeShawn Everhart, Barbara Borum (Arnell), Dorothy Jackson (Harry), Laura Cornelius, Darlene Ozama (Justice), Rosemary Fitzgerald (Norman), Maggie Cornelius, Christy Everhart and Tina Redmond (Harold); his brother-in-law Thomas Schwind; and his mother-in-law Betty Schwind. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
