It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yana M. Evans (Flint, Michigan), who passed away on April 18, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Doak Evans; her brothers, Michael D. and Evan L. Evans; her grandparents, William Evans, Willie Evans, John McMillon and Marguriette McMillon; and her aunts and uncles, Lillie M. Campbell, Margaret Evans, James, William, Raymond, Charles, David, Frank and Kenneth Evans.
She is survived by: her mother Zetan Evans of Flint; her son Samuel Ameer Evans-Jones; her siblings, Keith Evans (Tonya) of Sturtevant, WI, Carl S. Evans of Kingsport, TN and Michelle Wallace (Alvin) of Auburn Hills, TN; her aunt Bernice McMillon; her cousin Reven McMillon of Flint; and her friends, Rico, Bobby and Lucille. She is also survived by many other friends and relatives, including cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Due to the covid 19 pandemic, a memorial service will take place at a later date.
