She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Powell and Alice Powell (Cobb); and her siblings, Virginia Hibner, Patricia Clark, David Powell and Cecilia Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Smith (Lisa Shoans) and Frances Smith (Robert Garrow); and her grandchildren, Jared, Robert, Devin and Camrin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
