He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nancy Fairchild and Oney Fairchild; his wife Tracy Fairchild; his daughters, Amanda Fairchild (Joshua) and Sidney Wares (Austin); his grandson Christopher Fairchild; his stepmother Judy Fairchild; his siblings, Mark Fairchild, Sheryl Erbst and Teresa Pinder; his pet Skky; his sisters, Vickie Helman and Robyn Mechanic; and his in-laws, Charles and Judy McAllister.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Caterer Family Funeral Home (307 E Main St, Flushing, MI 48433). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family asks that donations to Voices for Children Advocacy Center be made instead of flowers or other gifts.
