He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Jernigan and Betty Jernigan (Klouchek); his son Charles; and his brother Gerald. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Jernigan; his son David Jernigan (Melinda); his grandson Charlie Jernigan; and his sister-in-law Carey Jernigan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church (2143 S Center Rd, Burton, MI 48519). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
