She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Dyer and Elizabeth Dyer (Peppler); her husband Andrew J. Allen; her former husband Robert L. Schaefer; her great grandchild Colton; and her sisters, Jane Hilton, Ann O'Brien and Nadine Bryan.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Schaefer (Ruth), Dawn Allen (Denny), Pat Schaefer (Jen), Jimmy Schaefer (Joanie) and Holly Schneider (Chris); and her sisters, Darlene Coulter (Dick) and Kathleen Quinn. She is also survived by grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and so many other dear family members and friends.
