He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Gilvydis (Linas) of Sanford and Ken Kunkel (Laura) of High Point, NC; his grandchildren, Katrina Sharp (Tyler) of Shields, Brandon Kunkel of Linden, Kennedy Kunkel of Linden, Alayna Coyer (Josiah) of Zebulon, NC, Austin Kunkel of Raleigh, NC and Aiden Kunkel of High Point, NC; his great grandchildren, Maela, Logan, Levi and Jameson; and his siblings-in-law, Karin Bude of Hamburg, Germany and Eberhard Porsch (Uta) of Holzminden, Germany. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
