With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Edgar Crandell of Flushing, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Marshall and Ida Janet Crandell (Berry); his wife Mildred Fuller; and his son James. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Arnold, Sandra Mohr and Janet Crandell; his sister Barbara Bowman; and his sister-in-law Rita Crandell. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, Flushing United Methodist Church or McLaren Hospice.
