It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Stanke of Flushing, Michigan, who passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Stanke and Francis Stanke (Walsh); his wife Carol M. Stanke; his son Kevin Stanke; and his brothers, Phil (Linda) and Denny Stanke.
He is survived by: his sons, Keith Stanke and Korry Stanke (Donna); his grandchildren, Ashley Soldan (Jacob), Justin Stanke, Jason Milloway, Camilla Stanke, Gregory Stanke (Sydney), Megan Cruttz (Chaz), Krystal Forsyth (Stephen) and Rebecca Stanke (Fiance' Alexander); his siblings, Rosalie Heath (Bob), Ellen-Jean Winkelhaus (Lou) and Gary Stanke (Loretta); and his sister-in-law Debby Stanke. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (2526 Corunna Rd, Flint, MI 48503). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
