She was predeceased by: her parents, Tobias Carroll and Bernice Carroll (Seymour); her husband Penn Gibbs; her son Theodore; and her brother Larry Carroll.

She is survived by: her daughter Barbara; her brothers, Fred Carroll and Frank Carroll (Alice); her sister-in-law Sandy Yokobosky; her siblings' children, Shannon Carroll-Frey (David), Patrick Carroll (Sheri), Heather Flint (Lance), Todd Carroll (Becca), Dominick Cataldo (Becca), Tony Carroll (Sally) and Scott Yokobosky (Cheryl); and her friends, Keri Jaggers, Wilma Lindsley and Norma Snowden.
