He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Leo and Josephine Matts (Connell). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bailly; his son Tyler (Bridgett Matts); his grandson Brody Willson; his siblings, Frank (Carol Matts) and Florence (Chris Witchendahl); and his siblings-in-law, Helen (Bill McGreevy), Mary Rooney, Ruth (Michael Wittig), Jean (Michael Orlovsky), Richard Bailly (Marty Knox) and Ray (Vilma Bailly). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
