He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Sr. Dashner and Margaret Dashner (Golz); his wife JoAnn Dashner; and his sisters, Jacqueline and Margaret.
He is survived by: his children, John Dashner (Jacqueline Marshall) and Danielle Letter (Alan); his grandsons, Brenden and Connor Letter; his brother Richard Dashner; and his nephew Ken Warner.
