With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Monique Alice Melanson of Flushing, Michigan, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Lehoux and Clairina Lehoux (Vallee). She is survived by: her husband Edward A. Melanson; her children, Bernard Melanson (Donna) of Blue Eye, MO, Morris Melanson of Flushing, MI, Annette Miller of Flushing, MI, Michael (Cindy) of Wimberley, TX, Teresa Farmer (Mark) of Flushing, MI, Janice Espiritu of North Highlands, CA and Elene Cole (Kurt) of Eagle River, AK.; her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kim), Scott (Elizabeth), Adam (Kayla), Christopher (Heather), Erica (Joe), Kristyn (Chris), Colin, Garrett (Karen), Allen (Brad), Monica (Jon), Carrie (Michael), Kristin (John), Samantha (Aaron) and Zachary; her great grandchildren, Gunner, Emmet, Adelyn, Julian, Josiah, Eddie, Soraya and Amira; her sister Janet Manzardo (Mike); her sister-in-law Nancy Brown; her son Kenneth Melanson; her son-in-law Craig Miller; her siblings, Lorraine Crist (Earl), Andre Lehoux (Betty) and Paul Lehoux (Margaret); and her parents-in-law, Edward Melanson and Aurora (Bouchette). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
