He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jean (Trench); his parents, Samuel and Almas; and his siblings, Jacob, Julius and Agnes Yalda.
He is survived by: his sisters, Nellie Warda and Jeanne Elia; his children, Paula Lazar of Williamsburg, MI, Laura Lazar of Atlanta, GA, Thomas Lazar (Karen) of Alpine, CA, Mary Lazar of Flint, MI and Bethany Simpson (Steve) of Geneva, IL.; his granddaughter Alexandra of Jong; his great grandchild Aria of San Diego, CA; his grandchild Taylor Martin (Bobby); his great grandchildren, Landon, Vale and Rory of El Cajon, CA; his grandchildren, Mary Casey Tabor (Peter Tabor) of Columbus, OH, Isabel Simpson and Paul Simpson of Geneva, IL.; and his caregiver Morgan Douglass. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
