He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; and his daughter Mary Klapko. He is survived by: his children, Anne Stokes (Paul), Richard Klapko and Charles Klapko (Heather Chipman); his grandchildren, Ryan Gertiser (Natalie), Elizabeth Elliott, Remington Klapko, Lauren Stokes (Sal Chavez), Christian Gilko and Katlain Gilko; and his great grandchildren, Kaedence Gertiser, Easton Gertiser, Lacey Gertiser, Olivia Elliott, Evan Elliott and Valentina Chavez.
