He was predeceased by : his wife Renee Risner. He is survived by : his children, Tamara Reece, Robert Glenn Mays II, Jason Woodrow Mays (Heather) and Lisa Marie Cervantes (Marc); his grandchildren, Liam, Cheyenne, Draven, Melia, Alexander and Lucas; and his siblings, Brenda Hubbard and Jerry Mays.
